There is something sacred in the stillness, in the moments when you sit quietly with your herbs, feeling the energy of each plant before the blending begins. As you hold them in your hands, consider how they work together, forming a synergy greater than the sum of their parts. The peppermint leaf cools and invigorates, the tulsi grounds and nurtures, the rosehips offer their vibrant support. Each herb holds its own story, its own gift, waiting for you to discover how it can help you and your loved ones.
In this moment of connection, you are not just preparing a tea or an oil, you are crafting something imbued with your intention. Like the weaving of threads into a tapestry, your thoughts, your gratitude, and your focus become part of the blend itself. What do you wish for this creation? Is it healing, peace, protection, or maybe a sense of empowerment? Hold that thought as you gather the herbs, and feel it flow into your work.
Much like the energy we put into our daily lives, the thoughts and emotions we pour into our creations ripple outward. This is the essence of energy—our ability to infuse our intentions into what we touch. The same way a day begun with gratitude feels lighter and more joyful, a blend crafted with purpose becomes more than just the sum of its parts.
Perhaps you’re making an herbal vinegar for the kitchen—apple cider vinegar mingled with rosemary and thyme for immune support, or an oil infused with plantain and calendula to soothe the skin. As you prepare, know that your energy, your hopes for the people who will use it, and your reverence for the plants themselves add to the effectiveness. It is no different than when you send love and well-wishes into the world, knowing that those feelings create ripples, bringing their own kind of magic.
Blending herbs is both an art and a ritual. It’s not just about knowing which plants complement one another, but about feeling the energy that you, the creator, bring to the process. In these moments of intentional creation, you craft not just with your hands but with your heart, your mind, and your spirit. The result? A tea, oil, or tincture that carries the magic of intention into every sip, drop, and dose.
So the next time you sip one of Herbal Twist’s tea blends or use one of our herbal creations, know that each one is crafted with this same care and intention. From the first step of selecting the herbs to the final touch of packaging, I pour my heart, gratitude, and purpose into every blend. Each creation is more than just a product—it’s a reflection of the magic that comes from blending herbs with love and intention, so you can feel that energy in every cup, every drop, and every dose.
Herbal Twist Tea is located in the small town of Alsask, Saskatchewan where we handcraft organic loose leaf tea in small batches with a focus on how each creation will help with health and wellness while not sacrificing flavour. Owner Melissa develops the teas using her knowlege as an Herbalist. We also sell online at herbaltwisttea.com or Etsy. I am so happy that I am able to share my passion for herbs through my love of the ritual of tea.
About the Owner
Herbal Twist Tea began in a small home kitchen with me, creator/owner/operator Melissa Wintle, wanting to increase my and my family's health and wellbeing in a natural way. Coming from a family that already enjoyed visiting and relaxing with a cuppa tea multiple times a day, this was the perfect way to add herbs into my life. Now I wish to pass on my experience and knowledge as a budding herbalist by providing my handcrafted wellness tea blends to everyone and Herbal Wellness Consultations to those who wish.
We offer a wide selection of small batch, handcrafted organic tea and Herbal Wellness Consultations at our Herbal Clinic!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
