How and Why To Rethink Your Homestead
Big News! I just received my Electric Coach certification after just having taken RewiringAmerica.org’s course. Pop the cork, on some good Champagne!
My business objective has been to leverage our new homestead build as an educational case study model to learn from and help others to also learn from. I have some communications engineering education under my belt, but this course was quite a lot more fun, and quick, too!
One of the important course take-aways was to have us ask ourselves to recondsider how we view the challenge of moving off fossil fuels and on to Green / Clean energy. My electric coach role is to help you to identify your federal and state financial benefits and other incentives and then, to help you optimize these benefits via a multi-year plan. Remember that the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is a 10 year program. So that allows all of us to optimize each year, as long as we don’t double dip with some of the key program criteria.
